Dr. Duizer’s passion is rooted in his own experience with the combination of the powerful healing modalities of Naturopathic Medicine. Dr. Ming Mei Zhang is dual licensed as both an ND and RMT. She earned her Bachelor of Science specializing in Cell biology and Genetics from UBC, where human anatomy and physiology sparked her interest. From there on, she pursued her diploma of Registered Massage Therapy from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy. While working in an integrative clinic, Dr. Zhang learned about naturopathic medicine, and it was through its effects on her own health that she learned to appreciate its patient centered holistic approach. This spurred her to pursue naturopathic medicine training from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine.

Dr. Zhang strives for a general practice, but has a special interest in sport medicine, management of chronic pain, metabolic, and digestive disorders. Due to her own personal experience going through pregnancy, she has also developed a passion for prenatal and postpartum care.

Dr. Augusto Benavides Panizo is a Naturopathic Doctor focused on a holistic approach to physical medicine and chronic pain. He also supports his patients in a primary care role, treating conditions related to hormonal health, digestive problems, and chronic stress.

He was born and raised in Peru, where he started his professional education by studying Biology for 2 years at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (UPCH), before transferring to the United States. In the US, he completed his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (2016) from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).

After dealing with chronic pain for several years, he found Naturopathic Medicine as both a solution to his health problems and a passion he could use to help others. Dr. Ashley Bilodeau is a BC local and grew up in the Fraser Valley where she spent her summers camping, hiking and picking berries and the fall seasons outdoors on the soccer field.

Staying close to home, she attained her Bachelor’s of Science in Biology from the University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford. When she didn’t have her head in the books studying pre-med, she was training in the gym or on the water to hold her position on the varsity rowing team, to which she became captain in her last year.

A keen interest in the human body and science led her to CCNM Boucher where she completed the Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine program in 2021. During her time at Boucher she was president of the Sports Medicine Club, organizing talks, learning the Kinesio Taping Method and participating in events at the local climbing gym.
